Position description The Department of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified, temporary, non-tenure track lecturers to teach a range of physics courses. Applicants are considered for positions as needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available. We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach/co-teach small, medium, and large size undergraduate lower and/or upper-division lecture, seminar and/or laboratory courses in Physics. In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties may include: Holding office hours; Assigning grades; Advising and communicating with students; Preparing course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and exams- Using a learning management system (e.
