Position:

(Purpose of the Position): The Astronomy Telescope Leader is responsible for facilitating a few evening observing sessions and supporting students in their hands-on learning of astronomy concepts. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and educational experience for students using telescopes and engaging with the night sky.

Qualifications:

(Education/Experience/Skills) Completion of introductory physics or astronomy coursework Familiarity with the proper use and care of telescopes and related equipment Basic knowledge of constellations, planets, and the night sky Strong communication skills and ability to work with peers Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working evening hours outdoors This job description is for general information purposes.
