Job Description:

The Department of Physics in the School of Science, Technology, and Natural Resources at Wittenberg University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach one or both Physics courses. - PHYS 203 (Second semester calculus based physics (waves, optics, E&M)) during the Spring 2027 semester which starts on January 11, 2027. Responsibilities include teaching in-person lectures and lab. The class has three, one hour sessions per week and one 3 hour lab section per week. - PHYS 207 (Introductory Electronics (emphasis on AC circuits through diodes)) during the first half of the spring 2027 semester which runs January 11-February 26, 2027. Responsibilities include in-person lecture/ lab that meets 3 hours twice a week. Requirements:

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Physics or be near completion of a Ph.D. by January 2027. Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. For questions, please contact Dr. Paul Voytas, Chair, Department of Physics, pvoytas@wittenberg.edu.
