School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Southern Wesleyan University's School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics is seeking to hire adjunct faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach courses in Physics with Calculus I and II. See below for additional details.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach Physics with Calculus I and II face-to-face or hybrid (with weekly synchronous office hours and at least one synchronous lecture/discussion session per week). Collaborate with the program coordinator and other adjunct faculty in the program. Optional opportunities to develop and update the Physics course periodically for additional pay.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Academic. A master's degree or earned a doctorate in Physics, Engineering, or a related area with at least 18 graduate credits in Physics. Preference will be given to applicants with previous college teaching experience. Desire and/or experience integrating the Christian faith with the teaching and practice of Engineering discipline are essential. Mission and Lifestyle Expectations.
