This search is for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The expected starting date for this position is August 1, 2027. The successful candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of research and actively contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and service to the profession. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. The Bush School of Government and Public Service was founded in 1997 under President George H. W. Bush's philosophy that "public service is a noble calling." Since then, the Bush School has continued to reflect that notion in curriculum, research, and student experience and has become a leading international affairs, political science, and public affairs institution. Located in College Station, Texas, the school is part of the George Bush Presidential Library Center on the campus of Texas A&M University A rigorous curriculum and internationally acclaimed faculty have propelled the Bush School to rank in the top 10% of graduate schools for public affairs for 2023 in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report and is one of the most impactful and nationally influential academic units at Texas A&M. The Bush School prepares students to become principled leaders and to reflect the value of public service throughout their careers.
