Our Adult Day Programs support adults with autism and other behavioral health needs through engaging, meaningful programming focused on life skills, wellness, creative expression, and vocational development. The Sullivan Center at our Sicard Hollow campus is a vibrant, community‑connected program that promotes independence, communication, and real‑world experiences. We are seeking a confident, hands‑on Senior Adult Day Manager to lead this program and support both participants and staff in achieving their best outcomes. Position Overview The Senior Adult Day Manager provides day‑to‑day leadership and operational oversight for our Adult Day Program at the Sullivan Center. This role supervises a team of approximately 12-15 direct care staff, ensures high‑quality service delivery, and maintains compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements. This position is ideal for a people‑focused leader who enjoys mentoring staff, managing operations, and working directly in a mission‑driven environment. What You'll Do Lead daily operations to ensure consistent, high‑quality, and compliant services Develop and adjust staff schedules to meet program needs and required staffing ratios Supervise, coach, and support direct care staff to drive performance and engagement Ensure services remain person‑centered, goal‑directed, and aligned with individual's Plan of Care Guide staff in contributing to Plans of Care, including strengths, preferences, needs, and progress Oversee age‑appropriate, active treatment activities that promote independence, skill‑building, and choice Support community involvement and meaningful vocational and social experiences Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and billing in accordance with DMH requirements Coordinate community outings, ensuring safety and guideline adherence Recruit, train, and onboard new staff; lead regular team meetings Support medication self‑administration and transportation services as trained and applicable What We're Looking For Proven supervisory or management experience in human services, healthcare, or social services Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral health needs Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to build a positive team culture Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, documentation, and competing priorities Effective communicator with staff, families, clinicians, and community partners Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation standards High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in an adult day program, residential facility, healthcare, or human services setting Must be cleared through the Dept. of Human Resources Child Abuse & Neglect Registry and pass all required pre-employment and background screening Must be certified or certifiable in CPR, 1st Aid, Managing Crisis Safety (MCS), and Medication Administration (MAC) within 30 days of employment Why Join Glenwood Consistent full‑time schedule Mission‑driven, supportive workplace culture Opportunity to lead a stable program and make a measurable impact Professional growth through leadership experience in a respected organization Glenwood is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
