About Us We are a nurturing Montessori environment dedicated to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in children. Our program supports the whole child through authentic Montessori practices, a peaceful classroom environment, and strong partnerships with families. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Director & Lead Teacher to oversee daily school operations while also guiding a classroom. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who is both a strong leader and a hands-on educator committed to the Montessori philosophy. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Leadership & Administration Oversee daily operations of the school/program Ensure compliance with state licensing and Montessori standards Support, mentor, and supervise teaching staff Communicate effectively with parents and families Manage enrollment, tours, and community outreach Classroom Responsibilities Plan and implement authentic Montessori lessons Prepare and maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment Observe and assess student progress Foster independence, respect, and social-emotional development Maintain accurate student records ⸻ Qualifications Montessori Certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited program) Director Permit or eligibility (per state requirements) Minimum 2-3 years of Montessori classroom experience Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Background in early childhood education ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Experience in a leadership or administrative role Knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance Bilingual (optional, but a plus) ⸻ Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment
