Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Preschool Director Building Bridges Preschool - Lafayette, CA Building Bridges Preschool is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and organized Preschool Director to teach and to lead our well-established, high-quality early childhood program in Lafayette, California. We are a respected, play-based preschool with a strong reputation, supportive families, and a dedicated teaching team. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about early childhood education, values positive relationships, and enjoys fostering a warm, collaborative environment for children, families, and staff. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the preschool program and assist with teaching. Ensure compliance with California Community Care Licensing regulations. Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Communicate effectively with families and build positive relationships. Oversee enrollment, staffing, records, and daily operations. Partner with the owner to maintain the school's high standards and positive reputation. Qualifications Must meet California Child Care Center Director qualifications. Experience directing or supervising an early childhood program preferred. Understanding of California Community Care Licensing regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Passion for providing exceptional early childhood education. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
