Our program is grounded in emergent curriculum — a responsive, child-led approach that honors each child's interests, questions, and pace of development. We have an immediate need for a skilled, self-directed Director to lead day-to-day site operations while stewarding program quality and emergent curriculum implementation. This is a full-time interim position with strong potential to transition into a permanent role, reporting directly to the CEO & Founder.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Staff supervision & performance management — Lead, coach, and hold accountability for site staff to maintain a high-functioning, mission-aligned team. Family communication & enrollment — Serve as a primary point of contact for enrolled families and newly enrolled families. CCLD compliance & licensing — Maintain full regulatory compliance with Title 22 standards; serve as the primary CCLD relationship holder on-site. Emergent curriculum planning & implementation — Lead and sustain emergent curriculum practices across all classrooms; ensure programming is developmentally appropriate, child-led, and responsive.

  Site Supervisor or Director Permit — Required ECE degree or related field — Required Prior preschool director experience — Required CCLD licensing & compliance knowledge — Required Emergent curriculum experience — Required (hands-on implementation preferred) Neurodivergent & special needs experience — Strongly preferred
