  • This position is grant funded which is renewed under the provisions of the grantor of the contract. The current grant is funded through 9/30/2027. Your position, therefore, is contingent upon continuation of funding of these grants and satisfactory job performance.
  • The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist position is an inclusion-focused role that provides CalBLOOM-aligned coaching and job-embedded support within classrooms.
ECE Specialists model UDL strategies, facilitate reflective practice, and support co-teaching teams in integrating inclusive practices into daily instruction. With backgrounds in early childhood or special education and expertise in evidence-based practices such as UDL and the Pyramid Model, they bridge theory to practice and ensure high-quality implementation. This role is supported by dedicated leadership time, professional development, and structured collaboration opportunities, allowing teams to plan, reflect, and continuously improve.
Internal Applicants:
Although an Edjoin application is the only requirement for internal applicants: it is recommended that you include all items listed to allow all panel members a complete view of your qualifications and background.
External Applicants:
  • A Bachelor's degree in child development or related field required.
  • A Master Teacher permit issued be the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC is required.
  • A Site Supervisor Permit or higher issued by the CTC is preferred.
  • Must currently have or must obtain Pediatric CPR/First Aid/Health and Safety Training certification within 90 days of employment.
  • If hired, must provide proof of a valid California driver's license.

Copy of Transcript (Proof of Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field ) Credential Copy (A Master Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is required. A Site Supervisor Permit or higher issued by the CTC is preferred.)
