- Early Childhood Education Contract Temporary Non-tenured Track Position About the Employer Welcome to Placer County Office of Education!
- This position is grant funded which is renewed under the provisions of the grantor of the contract. The current grant is funded through 9/30/2027. Your position, therefore, is contingent upon continuation of funding of these grants and satisfactory job performance.
- The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist position is an inclusion-focused role that provides CalBLOOM-aligned coaching and job-embedded support within classrooms.
Internal Applicants:
Although an Edjoin application is the only requirement for internal applicants: it is recommended that you include all items listed to allow all panel members a complete view of your qualifications and background.External Applicants:
- A Bachelor's degree in child development or related field required.
- A Master Teacher permit issued be the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC is required.
- A Site Supervisor Permit or higher issued by the CTC is preferred.
- Must currently have or must obtain Pediatric CPR/First Aid/Health and Safety Training certification within 90 days of employment.
- If hired, must provide proof of a valid California driver's license.

Copy of Transcript (Proof of Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field ) Credential Copy (A Master Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is required. A Site Supervisor Permit or higher issued by the CTC is preferred.)
