Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least eighteen years of age, qualified as an Administrator through DE First (or actively pursuing that goal), and meet the requirements of the licensing agency. Must be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Center's program and philosophy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and directing staff Scheduling Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following: Reviewing lesson plans (theme related, timely, developmentally appropriate, posted) Scheduling of staff and breaks Sub in as needed Enrollment and Unenrollment of children to include complete children's files Interviewing and hiring of staff terminating if staff to include completing new hire or termination files Ages and Stages screening annually overseeing assessments and conference scheduling / report cards and tracking Interface with families/ parent/ staff relations Process tuition payments Touring the center Monitoring brightwheel for compliance POC updates and Tracking Updating Health Appraisals for children/ monthly checks on who is due Tracking Staff training hours/ registering staff for training as needed Children transitions paperwork and overseeing; managing room transition chart Opening/Closing center Projects as assigned Filing and Archiving Overseeing the center and staff and ensuring compliance in all areas
