We are a school of about thirty children with a goal of growing to sixty over the next three years. We are hiring a Preschool Director to lead our school day to day. This is a true leadership role with real ownership, working alongside our Executive Director, who continues to guide the school's mission and culture. You would run daily operations, supervise and coach teachers, manage staffing and ratios, oversee enrollment and family communication, help grow enrollment and welcome new families, handle tuition billing and accounts receivable, keep the school compliant with Florida licensing and safety rules, and manage purchasing and vendors, all while protecting our calm, respectful, relationship based culture. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys children, is warm but firm, highly organized, and comfortable moving between people leadership and detailed administrative work. You take initiative, follow through, communicate clearly, and use good judgment.
What we ask for:
At least three years of leadership or management experience, preferably in early childhood. Experience supervising staff and handling performance concerns. Comfort with billing, budgets, recordkeeping, and licensing. Energy for growing enrollment and welcoming new families. Strong organization, communication, and technology skills. You do not need to hold a Florida Director Credential. Our Executive Director maintains it for the school. A candidate's faith plays no role in hiring, and candidates of all faiths and none are welcome. As a Jewish school, we do ask that the Director be comfortable respectfully supporting our Jewish identity and traditions. You do not need to be Jewish.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience, plus a bonus tied to enrollment growth. This is a full time position. Please apply with your resume and a brief note about your interest.
