Duties Lead the development and implementation of engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with early childhood standards and VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) requirements. Manage daily school operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment. Supervise and evaluate faculty members, providing mentorship, professional development facilitation, and performance feedback to foster instructional excellence. Oversee personnel management in education settings, including hiring, training, and managing school staff while ensuring adherence to legal requirements such as special education law and educational compliance regulations. Coordinate fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives to support school programs and enhance resources for students. Develop strategic plans for school growth, including budgeting, financial management as an education administrator, and long-term program development. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing early childhood education and school operations. Facilitate effective communication with staff, parents, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies through public speaking engagements and meetings. Oversee classroom instruction to maintain high standards of educational quality while supporting teachers in implementing best practices for childhood development. Manage school budgets efficiently while managing resources to maximize educational impact within financial constraints. Requirements Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a School Director within early childhood or K-12 settings. Extensive classroom experience working directly with young children in preschool or early childhood education environments. Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early learners and VPK programs. Demonstrated management skills including supervising staff, managing budgets, conducting faculty evaluations, and facilitating professional development sessions. In-depth understanding of educational compliance laws such as special education law and childhood development standards. Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of team building, strategic planning, and operational management in educational settings. Effective public speaking skills to engage with diverse audiences including staff meetings, parent conferences, and community events. Familiarity with school legal knowledge related to administration, personnel management in education, and regulatory requirements for early childhood programs.
