Full-time, Monday-Friday Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to oversee our early childhood education program located at Bennett Elementary School. This role includes the management of two classrooms and the supervision of all day-to-day operations at the site. The Program Director will ensure compliance with Florida Department of Education (FDOE) and Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations, support curriculum implementation, supervise and coach instructional staff, and create a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. Additional responsibilities include tracking daily attendance, maintaining accurate records, and serving as the primary liaison between school administration, families, and regulatory agencies.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations for two early childhood classrooms at Bennett Elementary School Ensure full compliance with all FDOE and DCF licensing and regulatory requirements Supervise, support, and evaluate teaching staff, including VPK-certified instructors Monitor daily attendance and ensure timely and accurate reporting Coordinate implementation of curriculum and support for children with IEPs Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with school administrators and families Manage program records, documentation, and regulatory reporting Organize and lead professional development for classroom staff Support enrollment processes and onboarding of new families Prepare for and participate in licensing inspections and auditsQualifications:
Valid Florida Director's Credential (Active) Minimum of 2 years' experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role Knowledge of Florida VPK standards, early childhood curriculum, and inclusive classroom practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders Must speak, read, and write English fluentlyPreferred Qualifications:
