As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for the day-to day operations and administrative functions of multiple daycare centers, managing staff, ensuring quality education and care for children, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and the community. Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain program quality and educational integrity for enrolled children.
  • Administer center programs according to DCF requirements, guidelines, policies and pertinent laws.
  • Establish and maintain a regular visitation schedule to the center sites.
  • Oversee upgrades / maintenance for the centers.
  • Interview, hire and mentor Center Directors with the approval of Wellington executives.
  • Assist Center Directors to interview, hire and mentor staff. Assist Center Directors to determine staffing needs, balancing efficiency with strict DCF requirements.
  • Monitor center expenditures and work with Center Directors to ensure they are within budget. Ensure sound bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed.
  • Conduct meetings with staff to facilitate communication and enhance the quality of the program.
  • Communicate Wellington expectations to staff and follow up to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Promote professional growth of staff and self through further education and related activities.
  • Address parent and staff concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of children, families and staff.
  • Represent and promote Wellington Academy through participation in community outreach programs related to early childhood education as well as festivals and functions pertinent to children and families. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Florida Director Credential
  • At least 10 years of professional experience with 3+ years of experience in supervisory roles within a multi-facility childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles, curriculum planning, and licensing standards.
  • Experience with government funding processes and compliance is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • This role involves frequent travel to multiple locations primarily within South West Florida.
