In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. You will provide strategic leadership to staff, foster positive relationships with families, and uphold high standards of educational excellence. Your energetic approach will drive the growth and success of our preschool program, making a lasting impact on children's early development and learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote holistic development and align with educational standards. Lead and manage a team of teachers and staff, providing mentorship, supervision, and professional development opportunities. Oversee daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. Engage with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events to build strong partnerships. Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, enrollment processes, compliance with licensing regulations, and record keeping. Lead fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives to support program growth and resource acquisition. Plan strategic initiatives to enhance program quality, expand enrollment, and strengthen the preschool's reputation within the community. Requirements Proven experience in education administration or management within early childhood education settings. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom teaching, and supervising staff. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment. Excellent public speaking skills for engaging with families, staff, and community partners. Knowledge of budgeting processes, fundraising strategies, and strategic planning for educational programs. Working knowledge of licensing requirements and compliance standards for preschools. Prior experience in working directly with young children in classroom settings is highly preferred.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
