Full Job Description Responsibilities Include:
Assist the director with office responsibilities. Be responsible to work in conjunction with the Administrator and Director in overseeing the implementation of curriculum that is in accordance with Kids of Promise Preschool's Statement of Faith and biblical worldview and that meets requirements for licensure. Be responsible to ensure that all staff and teachers are trained in the use of the curriculum and creative age-appropriate teaching methods. Train new teachers and assisting existing teachers to improve. Be ready to teach in times of teacher absence. Team player; ability to listen and help support a positive christian environment for staff, children and parents. Act as a substitute in any of the classroom when needed (ages 1-K). Work with teachers on creating weekly attendance and lesson plans for each classroom Help monitor teachers/classrooms; making sure schedules and lesson plans are always implemented appropriately. Clear knowledge of DCF Childcare Rules and Regulations Assisting with any children that may need additional support. You must be comfortable working with all Preschool ages. Keep inventory of school supplies Keeps the Administrator and Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children Conducts tours and provide interested families with information about our program Plans and coordinates field trips and fun activities with the Director and Administrator. Seek to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions in a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. Must affirm and agree to abide by Kids of Promise statement of faith.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS 45 DCF TRAINING HOURS CHILDCARE SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE ABILITY TO COMPLETE THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS
