The Kids Place Program Director of Christian Licensed Childcare Program

Job Summary The Kids' Place Program Director of a Christian Licensed Childcare Program providing care for children ages 1-12years; is a dynamic and compassionate leader dedicated to creating a nurturing, faith-based environment for children and their families. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and fostering a supportive team committed to excellence in early childhood education. The Program Director will serve as the spiritual and administrative leader, inspiring staff and engaging families through effective communication, mentorship, and community outreach. This position is vital in shaping a joyful, safe, and enriching space where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of curriculum that integrates Christian values with age-appropriate learning activities. Manage daily operations of the childcare program, including staff scheduling, enrollment processes, and maintaining licensing compliance, state VPK/ELC contracts, etc. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality care and professional growth. Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events. Oversee program budgeting, fundraising efforts, and resource allocation to support program sustainability. Provide spiritual guidance and Christian counseling to children and staff as needed, supporting their emotional and spiritual well-being. Organize special events such as holiday celebrations, community outreach initiatives, and educational workshops that promote social engagement and faith-based learning. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed; conduct regular safety drills and maintain a secure environment for children and staff. Support staff mentoring by offering ongoing coaching on teaching strategies, social work principles, and effective communication skills. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in early childhood education or childcare management within a licensed setting. Strong understanding of Christian morals, values, integrity, principles and the ability to incorporate faith-based practices into daily programming. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners. Experience in event planning, fundraising initiatives, or community outreach programs is highly desirable. Knowledge of social work practices related to working with children facing emotional or behavioral challenges; experience with bereavement support or hospice care is a plus. Demonstrated ability to mentor staff effectively while fostering teamwork and professional development. Background in teaching, education, management combined with leadership skills to guide program growth and quality assurance. Pay:

$41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
