Role:
Michelle's Place Child Care Center, Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Center Director to lead our vibrant team in Cahokia Heights, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our children's education and development while fostering a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Develop and implement educational programs that meet state and federal regulations. Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality care. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to build strong relationships. Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and health and safety standards. Monitor children's progress and implement strategies for improvement and development. Manage budgets and financial planning to ensure the center's sustainability. Promote a positive and inclusive culture that values diversity and teamwork.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. Minimum of 1 years of experience in a leadership role within a child care setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. CPR and First Aid certification required. Ability to foster a positive, nurturing environment for children and staff. Proven ability to manage budgets and financial operations effectively. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to children's growth.
