Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Center Director to join the leadership team at their premier preschool in Naperville, IL area. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Monday-Friday; year-round employment Salary $58,000 - $73,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Bonus incentive based on specified metrics Benefits 401(k) with employer match Medical/dental/vision insurance FREE tuition for the Director's children Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Responsibilities Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future Develop strong relationships with our families Comply with state childcare licensing regulations Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to serve in various roles as needed Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records Qualifications
REQUIRED
Education:
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related fieldREQUIRED
Leadership Experience:
At least 3-years of experience as a Director, Assistant Director, or Team/Department Lead in a licensed childcare center/preschool with at least 20 staff members and at least 100 enrolled students Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibilityNote:
