Job Description
Director of Early Childhood Education Maconaquah School Corporation is seeking an innovative, passionate, and student-centered leader to serve as the Director of Early Childhood Education. This administrator will oversee one of the area's most established and respected early learning programs, serving approximately 100 young learners from six weeks old through Pre-Kindergarten. The program currently includes 67 Pre-K students and 33 children ages six weeks through three years old. The Director will lead a dedicated and experienced staff of approximately 20 employees while continuing to strengthen and expand programming focused on early literacy, child development, family engagement, and kindergarten readiness. Maconaquah's early childhood program is a valued part of the community and plays a critical role in building a strong educational foundation for our youngest Braves. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and highly organized leader with strong communication skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students, families, and staff. Responsibilities The Director of Early Childhood Education will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Demonstrates knowledge of state statutes, legal code, and local school district policies and procedures Serves as a liaison between the school, staff, students, parents, and community Administers safety and security procedures related to the building, grounds, transportation, students, personnel, and equipment Coordinates and assists with the building budget development process Oversees and accounts for designated expenditures, including corporate and building-level funds Maintains all required records, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Supervises office operations and clerical staff Provides Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional duties for High School Students as assigned Completes additional duties assigned by the
Superintendent Qualifications Preferred:
