Job Description

Childcare Center Director Job Description The childcare center director is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and maintaining a sustainable childcare program that demonstrates excellence in health and safety risk management, staff development, and biblically based curriculum implementation. The director will exercise independent judgment and delegated decision-making authority in areas such as policies, procedures, and staff supervision. Professional Skills and Requirements 1. Fulfills the required qualifications outlined by KDHE for a center of 24+ children General Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain respect through positive, frequent communication
  • Ensure compliance required by the State of Kansas Department of Health is met
  • Oversee the center's food program operation in compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program
  • Maintain accurate records for students, staff, and families
  • Prepare budget and financial reports
  • Schedule children for the childcare center
  • Hire, provide training, and evaluate childcare staff
  • Oversee the daily schedules for the classrooms The Details 36-40 hours/week
  • Operating hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
