as an Assistant Director in Peabody, MA, where you will play a vital role in nurturing young minds and supporting our dedicated team. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of daily operations of the child care center. Support the Director in implementing educational programs and activities. Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high-quality care. Maintain a safe and engaging environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Assist in budgeting and financial management of the center.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Previous experience in a leadership role within a child care setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Passion for fostering a positive learning environment for children. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
