A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

•Caliday District Directors are responsible for 10-15 locations across Baltimore, Carroll, and Harford County• Within each Caliday School Age Program, you will find a team committed to inspiring children in new, fun, and engaging experiences that rally them in the exploration and pursuit of their passions. Together, we create safe and trusted spaces to enhance the lives of children, families, team members, and communities. The District Director is responsible for ensuring the Caliday School Age Programs mission, vision, and values are upheld through consistent implementation of building talent, brand, and operations. This top leadership position drives quality and consistency of the program experience across all locations to maximize the quality, capacity and financial success of their District.

Qualifications:
Strong organizational, leadership, communication, computer and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multi-site locations
Education/Experience:
Two-year degree in Early/Elementary Childhood Education or Four-Year Degree in any field MSDE Childcare Director qualified preferred Minimum of 5 years hands-on supervisory experience Multi-site management experience preferred Comprehensive knowledge of all OCC licensing requirements Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office
