Out-of-School Time Supervisor YWCA Central Maine is seeking a Out-of-School Time Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Out-of-School Time, and Summer Camp programs serving children ages 5 to 12 years. This leadership position works closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Childcare Services to ensure our programs provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. What You'll Do Supervise the daily operations of our childcare programs while ensuring licensing and safety requirements are met. Lead, coach, and support childcare staff, providing guidance and supervision throughout the day. Develop and implement enriching programming for school-age children, including after-school activities, vacation programs, and summer camp. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while helping address behavioral and developmental needs. Collaborate with other YWCA departments, including Aquatics and Food & Nutrition, to create well-rounded experiences for children. Assist with staff training, onboarding, and continuous quality improvement. You should have:

Experience working with children in a childcare, school, camp, or youth development setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to creating inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments. High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in early childhood or a related field is a plus). CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
