A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Summary:
Childrens World Early Learning is growing and is looking for a qualified assistant director. Ideal candidate will be hands on and will help the director with the operations of the center Great environment and family owned Must have Childcare experience in a similar role or solid teaching experience with admin experienceDuties:
- Build, lead and inspire your team to achieve the best results Help with curriculum and in classrooms when needed . Create a culture of support within the school (for staff, families and children)
- Cultivate an environment committed to health and safety
- Ensure compliance with the Minimum Licensing Requirements, conforming to health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of state, local and company policies for enrollment, attendance, tuition payment, subsidy and third-party enrollment and contracts
- Conduct informative and professional tours
- Help maintain complete and up-to-date attendance files for all children, completing yearly updates of all child files.
- Develop and implement strategies to address any gaps in marketing and enrollment
Skills:
- Experience in a similar role in a daycare/Childcare Center
- Strong communication and leadership skills Good customer service skills Experience with marketing and admin work in a childcare center is a plus CDA or Higher a strong plus Professional and organized Experience with doing tours and following up with leads If you are passionate about working with children and creating a positive impact on their lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
