Full-Time Job Summary Rising Stars Childcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Director to lead the daily operations of our licensed child care center. The ideal candidate will have prior daycare management experience, strong knowledge of Michigan licensing requirements, and hands-on experience with Procare . Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Program Director, Assistant Director, or Child Care Administrator in a licensed child care center. Experience with Procare software (required). Knowledge of Michigan child care licensing regulations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience supervising staff, managing enrollment, and working with families. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Successful completion of all background check and licensing requirements. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the center. Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations. Supervise, train, and support teaching staff. Manage enrollment, attendance, billing, and family communication through Procare. Maintain child and staff records. Prepare for licensing inspections and ensure ongoing compliance. Support curriculum implementation and classroom quality. Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field. Experience with licensing inspections and center administration.
