Full Job Description Location:
Springfield and Ozark, MO Pay:
$20-22/hour
Hours:
Approximately 6-7 hours per week during season About Us Upstart Athletics provides positive, development-focused soccer programs for children ages 2½-7. Our Feet First and Step Up programs combine soccer instruction, movement development, teamwork, and age-appropriate games in a fun and encouraging environment. Position Summary We are hiring a League Manager who will be the Lead Coach and Manager for our recreational leagues. The Fall season is 7 weeks from late August through October. This is an on-field leadership role. The League Manager will coach players, support assistant coaches, prepare the site, manage equipment, and help create an organized and welcoming experience for families.
Fall Schedule Tuesday evenings:
approximately 5:30-7:15 p.m.
Saturday mornings:
approximately 8:15-11:15 a.m. Additional flexible time for field setup and equipment needs League seasons are seven weeks, and consistent attendance is required. Responsibilities Lead Tuesday practices and Saturday league sessions Coordinate assistant coaches Set up and take down equipment Manage attendance and routine on-site issues Communicate weather, field, or safety concerns Maintain a positive and professional environment for players and families Ideal Candidate Reliable, organized, and able to take initiative Confident leading children and supporting other coaches Positive and professional with families Experienced in coaching soccer and working with young players Available Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings Has reliable transportation and can complete a background check Paid training and curriculum support are provided.
