Director of Early Childhood Education

Overview This position starts ASAP The Director of Early Childhood Education is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs for young children. This position requires a passionate individual who is committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children. The Director will work closely with educators, families, and community partners to ensure that all students receive an enriching early learning experience. Duties Lead and manage the early childhood education program, ensuring alignment with best practices and educational standards. Develop and implement curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children while promoting engagement and learning. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills. Oversee education administration tasks including enrollment, compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Manage the Food Program. Subsidy is being maintained for all children and families. Engage in strategic planning to set long-term goals for the program's growth and improvement. Foster relationships with families, providing support and resources to enhance their involvement in their children's education. Coordinate fundraising efforts to secure additional resources for program enhancement and community outreach initiatives. Multiple other requirements that come up throughout the day. Child onboarding. Staff onboarding and firing. Requirements At least 2 years experience in Early Childhood Setting 12 credits in earlychildhood education courses from a College or University. First Aid and CPR Training Background Screening and Fingerprinting (in house) Physical and TB test within a year old. (In house) Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, particularly within early childhood education. Strong background in curriculum development tailored for young learners. Experience working directly with students in an educational capacity. Knowledge of education administration processes including compliance regulations and record keeping. Strategic planning skills with a focus on program growth and sustainability. Excellent supervisory skills with a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
