Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Childcare Center Director to lead our early childhood education programs with passion and strategic vision. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with educational regulations, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development. Your expertise in curriculum development, staff management, and educational administration will drive the success of our center and positively impact the lives of children and families we serve. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader committed to excellence in early childhood education. Duties Manage all aspects of center operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning to ensure sustainable growth and quality service delivery. Supervise and support school staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on professional development and instructional excellence. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare licensing, health and safety standards, and Center policies. Oversee school administrative functions such as personnel management, staff evaluation, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate records of all operational activities. Qualifications Level 3 admin credential Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school director within early childhood education. Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and classroom experience working directly with children. Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, strategic planning, fundraising, and personnel management in an educational context. Knowledge of NC licensing rules and regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders through public speaking and community outreach efforts. Management experience supervising staff with a focus on team leadership and staff evaluation processes. Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and working with diverse student populations. $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
