A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

401(k) matching Dental insurance Free food & snacks Vision insurance 401(k) Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off We are seeking an experienced Preschool Administrator/Floater who is dependable, energetic, organized, and passionate about working with children. This position is ideal for an early childhood professional who enjoys variety and is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on support throughout the center. This is not strictly an office position or a classroom position. The person selected must be flexible enough to assist with center operations one moment and provide classroom coverage the next. Depending on the needs of the day, responsibilities may also include transportation, meal preparation, opening or closing duties, and other tasks necessary to keep the center running smoothly. Required Qualifications Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field , along with at least 3 years of experience in a 5-Star licensed childcare or preschool environment .
The successful candidate should also:
Be knowledgeable about applicable childcare licensing requirements and state and county regulations Be comfortable working with every age group, including infants, toddlers, preschool/pre-K, and school-age/after-school children Have strong computer and technology skills Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be organized and able to manage several responsibilities throughout the day Be dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional Work well independently while also functioning as a strong team member Be willing to assist in any area of the center when needed Have a genuine love for children and early childhood education Brightwheel experience is preferred but is not required.
