This position will support teachers, children, and families while helping ensure the center operates smoothly and meets all childcare licensing requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who leads by example, supports their team, and is committed to creating a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and feel cared for. Duties Help ensure children receive safe, loving, and high-quality care throughout the day. Support teachers with classroom routines, behavior guidance, curriculum, and daily activities Help plan and maintain age-appropriate learning experiences that support children's development. Provide guidance, encouragement and support to teachers and other staff members. Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and daily center operations. Communicate openly and professionally with parents and families regarding their child's care and development. Help train and mentor new employees and provide ongoing support to the teaching team. Conduct staff check-ins and evaluations while recognizing strengths and addressing areas for growth. Promote a team oriented, respectful, and family-friendly atmosphere. Qualifications Experience working in childcare or early childhood education. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Someone who is dependable, positive, patient, and comfortable working with children, families, and staff. Commitment to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child. Pay:
$24.59 - $29.61 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
