Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Seasonal Youth Director to lead and inspire young participants at our Christian retreat center. This dynamic role involves creating engaging spiritual programs, fostering a safe and welcoming environment, and mentoring youth through faith-based activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with children and teenagers. This paid seasonal position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting the spiritual growth of young individuals in a vibrant faith-centered community. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate spiritual programs, retreats, and activities that promote personal growth and Christian values Lead, supervise, and motivate youth participants during retreats, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all Provide Christian counseling, mentorship, and support to students Coordinate event planning efforts for retreats, workshops, and special activities in collaboration with staff and volunteers Facilitate discussions on faith topics, life skills, and social issues relevant to youth development Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages spiritual reflection, social interaction, and community building Experience Prior experience working with children or teenagers in religious or camp settings is highly preferred Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide youth through various activities Knowledge of Evangelical Christian counseling principles and experience providing mentorship to students Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth, parents, volunteers, and staff Experience in event planning and program development related to youth services Christian College Student preferred Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in creating memorable experiences that nurture faith, foster community connections, and empower young people to grow spiritually for the Lord!
