Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Title:
Center Director Established Hoboken childcare center is seeking a center director to work with a great management team. Looking for a person that is compassionate and one who leads by example. Someone who is hands on to working with the children and staff.
Job Summary:
The main responsibility of the Center Director is to over-see the daily operations. Our Directors are also responsible for managing enrollment, billing tuition, ensuring all necessary documents are updated/completed and we are compliant with the State. Direct communication with the parents is very valued by our clients. The Center Director also needs to be able to jump into all positions if the need arises due to call-outs. Other Responsibilities Managing staff. Ensuring that state and company policies are adhered to at all times. Scheduling monthly training on various topics. Creating the daily staff schedule. Ensuring Child to Teacher Ratio is being met. Giving tours of the center to potential clients. Participating in Open Houses. Keeping classrooms up to date with correct paperwork. Tracking attendance. Meals are provided by the center. Ensuring allergy plans are being followed by chef and staff. Identify and prioritize materials and equipment needed in classrooms and coordinate with operations director in completing inventory lists. Request and order necessary supplies needed to run the center smoothly. Parent communication via phone or email. Ensuring the daily report APP is updated accurately by the staff Provide strong support to families in any aspect related to the school. Maintain excellent records and documentation required by the state. Manage all incident reports, investigations and notifications to parents and management. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's Degree Required, in Early Childhood Education Preferred Experience in a preschool or daycare environment is a must Must be a strong, communicative team player Leadership, communication and management skills required Must be responsible, reliable and flexible to work center hours of 6:45AM to 7PM . Shift 7:30-3pm and 11:30am-6:30pm
