Preschool Director New Toms River Location Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | New Site Opening Happy Days Preschool is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Director to help launch and lead our brand-new preschool location in Toms River, NJ! This is not a "sit behind the desk" kind of role. We are looking for someone who can: Build strong relationships with families and staff Hire and train a dedicated team Create meaningful community relationships and local partnerships Lead daily center operations with confidence Manage enrollment growth and retention Keep licensing and compliance running smoothly Support and coach teachers Bring positive energy into a growing school community Problem-solve quickly and professionally Help create a culture families rave about What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of Preschool Director experience Strong knowledge of childcare licensing and operations Experience opening or growing a childcare center is a huge plus Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to network and build community connections Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Passion for early childhood education and team development The Ideal Candidate You're the type of person who: Notices the little things before anyone else does Can jump from a parent tour to a staffing issue to licensing paperwork without missing a beat Loves building teams and watching centers grow Understands that enrollment, culture, and community presence all go hand-in-hand Why Happy Days?
