Requirements Nevada Director Qualification:
Must currently meet Nevada Registry / Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) Child Care Licensing requirements to act as an On-Site Director (e.g., Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent coursework/experience required by NV licensing).
Active Nevada Registry Account:
Active membership with a verified career lattice level reflecting Director eligibility.
Clearances:
Must pass a Nevada Department of Public Safety / FBI background check and Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System (CANTS) check.
Certifications:
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain before start date).
Mandatory Training:
Completed NV initial training requirements (Signs and Symptoms of Child Abuse, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Medication Administration, etc.).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a licensed early childhood facility, including administrative or supervisory experience.
