Executive Director Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Early Childhood Center Director to lead our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of managing a successful early childhood program.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teaching and administrative staff. Provide ongoing professional development and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Curriculum Development:
Implement and oversee a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets state standards and fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of all children.
Compliance:
Ensure that the center complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing requirements and health and safety standards.
Family Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the center's budget, including tuition collection, payroll, and expense monitoring. Identify opportunities for financial growth and sustainability.
Community Outreach:
Represent the center in the community, building partnerships with local organizations, schools, and agencies to enhance program offerings and support services.
Quality Assurance:
Regularly assess program quality and implement improvements to ensure excellence in early childhood education.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Licensing:
Must meet all state requirements for a Child Care Director, including any required certifications.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of early childhood development, curriculum planning, and state licensing requirements.
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
