Job Summary The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. Responsibilities Lead and manage the child care program, ensuring high-quality education and care for all children. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development. Recruit, train, and supervise staff members; provide ongoing professional development opportunities. Foster positive relationships with parents and families to enhance their involvement in the program. Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements and health regulations. Monitor the safety and well-being of children in the facility at all times. Collaborate with community organizations to promote the program and enhance resources available to families. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback from staff, parents, and children. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. Prior experience in higher education teaching or administration is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and community members. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse backgrounds and abilities.
