Job Description

Under the direction of the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Early Learning Center operations. The ELC District Director directly supervises the ELC directors and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable law.
Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and two years of experience as a childcare/development director. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The director must have experience and knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Families Childcare licensing regulations along with Step-Up to Quality. The director must maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, Recognition and Prevention of Child Abuse, and Communicable Disease. An understanding and knowledge of children, their behavior and development. and specific knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices.
