A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

Young Mens Christian Association of Central Ohio is hiring a School Age Site Director - Pickerington Kindergarten Center in Pickerington, OH. This is a full-time position.
YMCA Before/ After School Program Site Director, Program Supervisor Location:
Pickerington Kindergarten Center Salary:
$17.50-$19.50/per hour Full Time (38-40 hours) Part-Time Plus (25+ hours) Part-Time (less than 25 hours)

CONNECT WITH STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY AND AFTER SCHOOL
Duties include: Responsible for the planning and implementing of daily programmingWork closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y.Develop and maintain positive relationships with Y employees, school personnel and administration, students and families.

Ensure that ODJFS licensing rules/standards are met, keep written student records, and collect data and provide reports as necessary.
