Job Description
Position:
Half-time (20 hours a week; flexible with summer and school year programs)Purpose:
Discipling children from birth through 5th grade.Basic Qualifications:
- Christian faith and character
- Positive "can do" spirit
- Team player
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written/verbal, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to relate to and work with children and adults—this requires a creative and energetic person. Basic Duties
- Oversee Sunday School through grade 5, including nursery staff, teacher recruitment, scheduling, and curriculum selection.
- Coordinate Children's Message and Children's Church during worship.
- Coordinate and oversee the midweek children's program.
- Coordinate Vacation training, Bible School, and children's camps.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal and occasional fellowship events for children.
- Attend staff meetings and establish agreed office hours.
- Implement the Safe Sanctuaries policy.
