Monday - Friday | 8 am - 4 pm About Foundation 2 Crisis Services Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that provides critical crisis intervention and prevention services across Iowa. We operate a 24/7 crisis center, including phone, text, and chat services. We also operate an emergency youth shelter, mental health support groups, community-based crisis programs, training, and more. We have been saving lives for over 50 years. Join our team today! Overview of the role Managing daily operations of the Crisis Center program according to agency policy and practice. Oversee the hiring and supervision of Crisis Center staff who coordinate and directly respond to individuals experiencing mental health related crisis. Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners through collaborative opportunities, and community outreach. Maintain records for payroll, basic accounting, program data, documentation, billing, and scheduling needs. Participate in regularly scheduled conferences with internal staff, and Foundation 2 contracted agencies. This position will be primarily based out of a Des Moines office, with occasional travel to the headquarters location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Benefits The annual base salary range for this position starts at $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. Salary offered will be based on candidate experience and qualifications. Flexible benefit dollars can be used toward medical insurance and other benefits. What you need Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field required or 5 or more years human service experience. Supervisory Experience Required High comfort with computers with ability to type quickly and multi-task. Excellent writing and grammar skills. Valid driver's license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy. Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services. Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file. Live in Iowa Live within 50 miles of Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA. Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods. Master's Degree preferred, plus 5+ years of human services experience Experience in crisis services preferred. Background in motivational interviewing preferred. Knowledge/experience working in the mental health, substance use, and/or problem gambling field preferred. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, project management experience, and fosters a positive work culture within a trauma informed setting Your Application We're excited to hear from you!
