Job Description

The Regional Director & Curriculum Specialist provides educational leadership and operational support for the Germantown and Urbana locations. This position ensures consistent implementation of the Teaching Strategies Curriculum, supports accreditation efforts, coaches Site Directors and teachers, and promotes high-quality early childhood programs. Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor classroom quality, curriculum implementation, and licensing compliance.
  • Support and coach Site Directors in daily operations and staff management.
  • Ensure consistent use of the Teaching Strategies Curriculum and assessment tools.
  • Lead accreditation and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Develop curriculum resources and provide training for teachers and leadership staff.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to improve instructional practices.
  • Monitor building conditions and coordinate maintenance needs.
  • Prepare site visit reports and follow up on action plans.
  • Support organizational goals and maintain high standards for safety, education, and program quality. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience with Teaching Strategies Curriculum, accreditation, and licensing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between the Germantown and Urbana locations.
