Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

The right candidate will have:
Demonstrated leadership in a large, complex child development program A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Deep knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice A firm commitment to supporting teachers every single day Love for children, play and humor Strong parent communication skills and ability to understand parent perspectives Director is responsible for oversight and leadership of the school including: Program quality and reputation Faculty recruitment and support as a professional community Parent relations and communications Facilities management Direction and supervision of support staff Compliance with all federal and state laws and school policies and procedures Day-to-day operations Relationships with the ECE community at large Competitive pay.
