A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-quality teachers who are committed to our mission and values. Ensure that all teachers are professionally trained, supported, and equipped with the resources they need to provide an exceptional learning experience for children. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among teachers and encourage ongoing professional development and growth. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families and ensure that they are informed and engaged in their child's learning and development. Manage the center's budget, including financial planning and reporting, and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary guidelines. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines and ensure that the center is in full compliance with all licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare center or related field. Childcare Center Director credentials required. Proven track record of attracting, retaining, and engaging high-quality teachers. Strong relationship experience and ability to enroll and retain families. Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines and a commitment to maintaining full compliance. Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on building and motivating high-performing teams. Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements. Associates degree in early childhood education, or related field (preferred).
Pay:
$53,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
