Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director to lead our vibrant early childhood education center. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster strong relationships with families and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and development for young learners. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to promoting childhood growth through innovative teaching practices and compassionate supervision. Duties Lead the daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, child development instruction, and behavior management strategies Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, preschool learning, and toddler care Foster positive communication with parents, addressing concerns, sharing progress updates, and building trusting relationships Oversee child supervision to ensure safety at all times, including during activities, transitions, and outdoor play Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, developmental progress, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety protocols Coordinate staff training on topics such as first aid (including pediatric first aid), CPR, special education needs, and working with children with disabilities Experience Proven experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings Classroom experience in preschool or toddler care environments demonstrating effective classroom management skills Prior leadership or supervisory experience as a Daycare Director or similar role preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations related to childcare services Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is highly desirable Certification in first aid (including pediatric first aid), CPR, and child safety standards required or obtainable upon hire Join us to make a meaningful impact on young lives!
