Job Description
Job Overview The Center Manager primary responsibiliy is to assist in managing the early learning program. This role involves overseeing curriculum development, staff management, regulatory compliance, family engagement, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Duties Staff Management Coach, Supervise, and evaluate teaching and support staff. Operations and Administration Oversee enrollment and retention efforts, including conducting tours and promoting the program to prospective families. Maintain accurate records for staff, children, and regulatory agencies. Family and Community Engagement Build strong relationships with families, serving as a resource and partner in their child's development. Plan and facilitate family engagement activities and events. Represent the program in the community, fostering partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. Health, Safety, and Compliance Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to child safety and emergency preparedness. Monitor adherence to health and safety guidelines, including child-to-staff ratios and sanitation practices. Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing and accreditation standards. Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an early childhood education setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
