Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

Excellent Montessori Director opportunity available in Frisco, TX. Please apply only if you have previous childcare director experience. We are a well-established high-quality Montessori school. We are seeking a director to lead our school and take it to the next level. We have an amazing school community of teachers, families, and students. The Center Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety, and welfare of the children and staff.
Responsibilities include:
Staffing, supervising, and scheduling Works to ensure state compliance and record-keeping Processing leads, conducting tours, and ensuring the facility exceeds standards Designate teachers and primary caregivers as required by State regulations Conduct staff meetings Marketing efforts to grow the enrollment of the center Monthly observations of the teachers and classroom environment to ensure academic excellence
Requirements:
The Center Director must comply with minimum standards, as set forth by company policies in addition to state and government regulations. Possess a bachelor's degree (in a child-related field is a plus) or equivalent Child Care or Management experience. Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by the State and company regulations and procedures Minimum 2 years in a supervisory position in business administration or childcare Minimum 5 years of work experience in a Montessori school or childcare center Proficient in Procare Strong leadership skills Strong Montessori knowledge Demonstrate excellent organizational and leadership skills Understanding of general business procedures Ability to communicate company policies and procedures in an efficient and clear manner to staff and parents Be enthusiastic and adaptable Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong computer skills Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children, parents, coworkers, and management. Valid Driver's License Be proficient in Microsoft Office Work well under pressure Basic knowledge of Montessori Education is preferred but not required.
