About Trophy Lakes Academy Trophy Lakes Academy is a Christ centered preschool and private school committed to providing children with a safe, loving, nurturing environment where they can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our mission is to partner with families in laying a strong foundation for their children while teaching them about God's love, biblical principles, kindness, compassion, and serving others. We are seeking a Preschool Director who is passionate about early childhood education. This individual will play an important role in leading our preschool, supporting our teachers, partnering with families, and helping ensure that the mission and values of Trophy Lakes Academy are reflected throughout our school.
Position Overview:
The Preschool Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Christian preschool program while providing strong leadership and support to teachers and staff. The Director should be someone who understands that leading a Christian preschool involves more than managing daily operations. It means creating a culture where children are loved, teachers are supported, families feel welcomed, and Christ is reflected in the way we serve others each day. The ideal candidate is a Christian leader, strong communicator, organized professional, and team builder who can balance the many responsibilities of a busy preschool while maintaining a warm and welcome presence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the daily operations of the preschool program
  • Lead by example and model Christian character in interactions with children, families, and staff
  • Support and encourage teachers in their classrooms and professional responsibilities
  • Help create a positive, Christ centered school culture
  • Ensure that children receive loving, nurturing, and age-appropriate care
  • Oversee staff scheduling, classroom assignments, and daily coverage
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and evaluating staff
  • Conduct staff meetings, trainings, and professional development
  • Maintain compliance with Texas childcare licensing requirements and school policies
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and families
  • Communicate with families professionally and compassionately
  • Address parent and staff concerns with wisdom, grace, and appropriate follow through
  • Monitor classrooms to ensure children are safe, supervised, engaged, and well cared for
  • Assist with enrollment, registration, records, and administrative responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support chapel, school events, programs, and special activities
  • Work closely with church and school leadership
  • Step into classrooms and assist wherever needed
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming school environment
  • Oversee family accounts and balances, financial reports, and maintain monthly preschool budget
  • Ensure that the mission and Christian values of Trophy Lakes Academy are represented in the daily operation of the preschool
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in early childhood education or preschool administration
  • Previous leadership or supervisory
  • Knowledge of Texas Childcare Licensing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, encourage, and hold staff accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced preschool environment
  • Professional, dependable, and team oriented
  • Genuine love for children and families
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to Christian care and education
  • Active Christian faith and desire to serve children and families through a Christ centered preschool ministry
  • B.A. in Education
  • Director's Certification The Ideal Candidate:

  • Leads with integrity, grace, kindness, and confidence
  • Understands the importance of prayer and biblical values in a preschool environment
  • Can encourage teacher while also holding them accountable

  • Is organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Is approachable and willing to listen
  • Is willing to be hands-on and jump in wherever needed
  • Has a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Wants to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Is committed to helping children develop not only academically, but also spiritually and personally
Pay:
$50,000.00
  • $65,000.
