About the Role As a Center Director, you'll lead the daily operations of one of our childcare centers while creating a warm, safe, and high-quality experience for every child, family, and team member. You'll guide and support your staff, maintain operational excellence, and help foster a culture built on trust, teamwork, and joy. Working closely with a District Manager or Director of Operations, you'll help bring our mission to life each day: doing the most good for the most kids while supporting the working families who count on us. What You'll Do As Center Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day success of the center, including: Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing exceptional educators and staff Coaching and mentoring team members to support growth and performance Managing daily center operations, including staffing, classroom quality, safety, and family engagement Building strong relationships with children, families, and the community Ensuring compliance with all state licensing and regulatory requirements Overseeing administrative and business functions such as enrollment, marketing, and budgeting Creating a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven team culture What We're Looking For Meets Bureau of Child Care Licensing requirements (Degree, CDA, NAC, or equivalent) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable with empathy Professional, emotionally mature, and calm under pressure Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities Passionate about early childhood education and supporting children and families Organized, dependable, and committed to operational excellence
